i’ve been reading a bit about ai stuff recently and one thing that has really bothered me is that a lot of people using the framing provided by corporations by calling the problems "hallucinations". they’re not hallucinations. a computer can't hallucinate. these "hallucinations" are caused by the computer being unable to fundamentally understand the world because they can't understand. period. it just bothers me because you're criticizing ai, but you're criticizing it using their language and on their terms and that sucks. don’t play their game and don’t play it by their rules.

this is a reminder for everyone, including all you ex-tumblr users. eggbug is real and he needs your help to enter your house. buy him or else he’ll be sad.

https://www.makeship.com/products/eggbug-plushie #eggbug#plush#real#tumblr#this does financially support cohost btw#and is prolly an easier sell than cohost plus#cos he’s a little guy#The Cohost Global Feed#maximizing outreach to maximize eggbug pushes sold

kinda annoyed that since the tumblr exodus i’ve seen a lot more content warnings on posts that could just leverage the great tag filtering system that cohost has. idk it’s just annoying to have to click through so many content warnings for things as minor as “eyestrain”, “anatomy”, and “eye contact”. like these are things that 99% of people won’t have problems with and the 1% that do can just muffle or mute the specific tag they have problems with. idk just annoying

it’s a really good game please get into it there aren’t enough people playing it in my area and i need more runners to net

yknow, do you think the 503 first byte timeout is caused by something? like too many people getting on cohost or something. or is it just the servers having an off day or something

hey y’all i’m kinda eepy so send me asks ty

lol my city pop loon wikipedia article blew up. i looked away and saw 40 notifs lmao
